On May 8th 2020, the nation commemorates the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe.
More than 130 men and women from the three parishes of Porlock, Luccombe and Selworthy served in the war. Many more supported the war effort at home, in the Home Guard, the Land Army, housing evacuees, etc.
Do you have a family member from the three parishes who served in the war?
Do you have any information or photos you could contribute to a community project celebrating Porlock Vale’s wartime effort?
Dovery Manor Museum is keen to hear from you.
