Taking place at Sparkhayes Campsite from 12 noon, the Porlock Duck Race promises a fun-filled day for all while raising funds for the 40th Porlock Carnival. Entry is free, with registration opening at midday on the day (no advance sign-up available).
There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon, including a BBQ, licensed bar, teas, soft drinks, and ice creams. Family-friendly entertainment features a bouncy castle, hook-a-duck, water tattoos, as well as a large raffle and tombola.
Live music comes from Skintight Samba at 1pm, setting the scene before the racing begins. With 11 races plus a thrilling Champions Race, the ducks hit the water from 2pm.
